2015: my year in knitting

I can’t believe the year is over. I started 2015 knitting  and that is exactly how I plan to end. I have one last project that I plan to finish before the clock strikes 12 😋 so stay tuned.

When I opened my eyes this morning my first thought was how many projects have I done this year? So I ran to Ravelry and I counted over 40 projects which doesn’t include what I didn’t post there. Whew I was busy don’t you think?

I think I did good, 2015 was a good knitting year. I learned some new techniques and fell in love with some new yarn because Karen from Do Ewe Knit is the bomb, yup I am pleased with my progress. I mean I had my first official photo shoot, thank God for Patty Mac! She made me look damn good! I had my first designer request for test knitting (thank you Taiga!) I was gifted yarn from Tjockt just because, I met Stephen & Steven, I finally got to Vogue Knitting, I wrote my first pattern, launched a new logo, I have apparel that folks actually purchased AND my .com! I feel like a big girl!

Every time someone posts a picture with one of my shirts or bags or notebooks or cups, I promise you I cry. You guys don’t understand how you all touch my heart. You don’t get how you keep me company when the nights are long and my heart is heavy with worry. Thank you!

I put together a little collage of my completed projects click play and I hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year GG! Like you, I plan to knit more in 2016. I haven’t seeing your posts. I thought you had stopped, but it’s good to know you’re still going strong. Keep up the good work. Your blog is so informative. Thanks for hooking us up with good knitting info.

Absolutely beautiful! I loved the slide show of all your projects. Seeing that made me think how I need to step up my knitting game this year. Thank you for the great blog posts to read and keep me inspired. Happy knitting!
