I am going to make another one and do a tutorial of what I am calling the Curl Knot. What is that you ask? It is my failed attempt at the French Knot, however, it’s perfect for a head full of curls. The questions about the hair keep coming, so like the saying goes “I can show you better than I can tell you” So video coming soon. Those curls have me mighty proud for a new stitcher.

The kit

GG The Knitter KitIt’s throwback Thursday so lets go back to yesterday when the kit was released. LOL! yes, yesterday. When you purchase you get everything you need. Two stitches is all you need to work this embroidery pattern of GG The Knitter.  Our kit includes Sajou French linen, 2 embroidery needles, 2 cards of Retors du Nord cotton thread, a Sajou hoop that can be used to frame your finished piece, the pattern printed on Sticky Fabri-Solvy and complete instructions.  You will even find a video here to guide you through GG’s curl stitch for perfect hair!  Choose from eight linen and thread color combinations.  This is a perfect project for both beginners and experienced stitchers.

How many of you have Embroidery on your list of crafts? I can honestly say this was something that I didn’t think I would hold my interest. Who was wrong? *raises hand* Who couldn’t stop even when she was dead tired *blushes and turns away* LOL! This was so fun and rewarding.

This all started from a picture that Becca shared that she had done. It was a picture of her and her friends. I was instantly intrigued, as I mentioned in the Video

The next project will be a repeat of this one, but then I want to try a picture of Shelbey. Yea I have found something else to fall in love with and am happy about it! Maybe, now I will figure out how to have multiple WIPS, LOL! I still don’t understand how you all do that, but I am going to try.

So, thank you in advance for your support, which means purchasing (click the picture) or sharing with someone you know that would purchase.

Knit on my fiber friends…knit on
