Last week with GG

Hello family, can we talk about last week? We can? Thank you! Last week Thursday marked my 5 year anniversary. 5 years ago GGmadeit was introduced to the world via my Facebook fan page. 🙀 Can you believe it’s been 5 years? I love Facebook memories for reminding me.

I distinctly remember being afraid. I didn’t think anyone would want to see or hear about my stuff. Look at us now, almost 4K strong! I love my fiber family, I truly do. I have met some really cool folks during this 5yr journey.

The bobble shrug

Last week I also rounded up a few test knitters for my latest pattern. 🙀 I was so nervous! My fear is they wouldn’t like it. I am so hard on myself, I have to do better. At any rate, they have it and are making yarn selections 😁 I can’t wait to see how this works out. Pray for me guys. If all works out, I will be releasing a new pattern by the month’s end 😮

I’m so nervous that I’m on my third one already. Lol, I had to be sure it was right. The yarn is super bulky, so it’s a quick knit. I pray folks like it as much as I do. I have been wearing the first one I made and the compliments have been plenty 😊

New stuff

Last week was full of new goodies too. My god Sister had The Knitscene magazine framed for me! Isn’t that an AWESOME gift? I was over the moon with joy when I saw it! She is the bestest! I can say this, 5 years ago I wanted to grow and be successful; however, I never imagined this.

Did I show you all my new bracelet from  Sassy Girl Studio? I saw this bracelet on Instagram and had to have it. I mean it’s balls of yarn. You know I asked for the orange beads right? Lol go check her out, she makes amazing things. I have my eye on a necklace next.

I promise to be more consistent. See you all next time.

Knit on my fiber friends….knit on

  1. Your Work is beautiful!
You are very creative and very talented.
I am a crocheter, however I learned to knit first, but I didn’t finish my course.
I only got as far as knitting, but I so desire to finish learning to knit, especially after seeing all the beautiful things you knit.
    Thanks for the motivation. 😊
