A Product review: Lion Brand Pompoms

So, wait….yea I start with the word “so” a lot, but so! Hahahahahahaaa hey family! *waving all hard* okay, okay on to the reason for this post: Pompoms I just asked the question on my facebook page; what do you mean what facebook page? This Facebook page right here come on over, and join the fun.

Back to the question – is pompom envy a thing? I know I have it, and the folks that responded agreed with me. Social media will make you greener than the grinch looking at all the luscious Pompoms. I know Β we have all run to Youtube to find a tutorial and I even have a pompom maker (don’t ask me where it is, but I have one) BUT what has me rolling my eyes at mere virtual strangers is the fur pompoms. Youtube ain’t show me how to do that! Insert Lionbrand and the ready made Faux fur Pompoms πŸ˜‰

Wait….did I tell y’all Amazon is my other pimp? How they delivering stuff on Sunday? I was knitting and minding my business, when what do I spy out the window…the mailman. I was all “hey boo 😘” you know I loves me some mail and this mail had my Pompoms.

They came two in a pack for the smaller ones, I just realized today I could get larger ones and I will. They cost $2.99 I think, which is not bad. I did see them for $1.99 today, but of course they are sold out πŸ˜’. The larger one from Lionbrand I saw for like $6.99. I also saw other brands made them as well; Premier yarns and Bernat , just to name a few.

Me being consistently me, had to fight the urge to stop mid-stitch and play with my new toy – the pompom. So (there it goes again), last night I pulled out my knitting machine (the Addi Express King sized) and cranked out two scarves and added the Pompoms to the end. Look

Review
Do I like them? Yes I do, especially the elastic string that makes attaching the pompom easier.
Would I change anything?Β Yes, the size, but I found they do come larger today, so I’m good there. I also have to figure out how to make them fluffy again, because they get flat during the shipping and handling process. Overall I am pleased and I as stated earlier I ordered the larger ones today.

Note: I am going to find my pompom maker and practice. I wanna make big luscious Pompoms too πŸ˜‘

Are you one of those folks I am envious of? Let’s discuss

  1. This may be a stupid question but I can’t figure out how to attach the pom BECAUSE of the elastic string! Can you share your easy method?!
