The KAL Poncho
Yes, yes the poncho does have cables and bobbles. I have put together a tutorial to demonstrate the techniques. Please do not allow those skills to stop you from joining. I foresee a group full of support. We will get you through this. I will upload the tutorial to my Youtube channel and share the link in the group.
Who is with me?
Does it count if I finally finish a very long and complicated orange WIP that I’ve been dragging my heels on for four or five years? It’s a beautiful lace blanket—I’m maybe halfway through. 🙂 bookaholic13 on Rav
I’m going to the KAL party!! I have typed this sooo many times, my iPhone suggests the words, before I type them. 😂
My yarn is all wound, into cakes and ready to go!! You 🧡🧡🧶🧶
Yay!!!!
😁*grabs poms-poms*🤸🏽♀️🎉🎊
Yay!
Oh fun ! I am headed over to join your Ravelry page. Love the poncho by the way.
Thank you
Thank you for the YouTube support! I’ve never knit cables before. I’m looking forward to learning something new!❤️
I will put the link up now
I left a comment earlier. Is it showing ?
Yes it’s there
I love your blog and your work. Orange is definitely my “happy” color.
I do have a question. Can you point me to the pattern and yarn for the orange/grey scarf you were wearing in the Stitches West photo? I would LIVE in that scarf!
Sure here you go, it’s free on Ravelry https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/lescargot-bleu
Thank you so much! I am putting aside “need to finish” projects and focusing on “happy” projects right now. We are all so fortunate to be knitters and to be part of the knitting community, both locally and virtually.
So when I am at work I work on my poncho. Today was a day! So for me I am teaching myself how to knit, so I am using the poncho to learn new stitches. Baby let me tell you. I had to back away from the Bobbles. Can we say take a breath. Ill pick that back up tomorrow but it is a very fun knit. Also I learn how to spot a mistake and go take it out with out disrupting the entire pattern. I say i am winning. xoxoxo
You go Yas!
