53 years old. I have 53 years on the face of this earth. I can remember as a kid thinking fifty was OLD! LOL I no longer think the same way. Hahahahaha I have lived long enough to know better. Ok seriously, it’s my birthday and I am feeling good.
August is the 8th month of the year and I have completed 7 projects, which is not bad. If I looked back to last August, I have completed 14 total projects..woot woot! That includes 6 sweaters baby!! WHAT!! 6 sweaters since last August! The latest being another Cocoknits masterpiece.
The latest completed SWEATER (it deserves caps because yea..) is called Franca and you can get your copy on Ravelry. This pattern uses the Cocoknits Method which I have blogged about here. I am beyond proud of myself as I was once convinced I couldn’t make a sweater. HA watch your mouth GG!!
The past year has been full of lessons and growth for me, both personally and professionally. If I had to pick one lesson that had the most impact, that would be to believe in me. I know with out a shadow of doubt that the main obstacle in my path is me. Change is never easy and changing my mindset has been a challenge, a challenge that I intend to overcome.
When I chose me, when I cheer for me, guess what? I was successful, ain’t that something? Everything has been growing my audience, my sales, just everything and that’s because I believe in me a bit more.
As I walk into the next chapter of my life, my plan is to leave self doubt and negative self talk behind me. Hi chaper 53, nice to meet you!
