Hello Fiber Friends,
As you all know I am and will be in the Philippines for the next 2 months. I usually do a video and I may very well still do that, but yesterday’s ride home from work truly made me realize just how blessed I am.
We have a tendency to focus on what we don’t have and subsequently consider ourselves poor. We have a tendency to complain or stress about situations that in the grand scheme of things really don’t matter. As I was riding back to the hotel and realizing the makeshift homes were simply that….HOME for someone; my heart broke, no it shattered. I have met some of the kindest people in the short time I have been here and to think this is their reality, rocked me to my core.
I am thankful for so many reasons and this experience…man oh man. Please appreciate the here and now regardless to whether or not you feel something is missing in your life. If in fact you have a gap in your needs/desires, use that as your motivation to go get it!

Amen to this, we all fall short, but we are truly blessed in spite of all of the injustice we live. I pray to be more considerate of others needs and to lend a hand as much as I can. I believe in each one teach one, better to give than recieve, it brings joy to my sole to be a incourager, to make someone smile, to live each day as a blessing.

Each morning I pray and thank God for the day that He has made and promise to rejoice and be glad in it. I am thankful to be alive!
