KnitScene, the Fall 2017 edition is hitting the shelves as I type and I can say this
I am so very excited and proud and sad at the same damn time. Why sad you ask? Shortly after I hit post on my last blog post, I got a call that my Dad passed away. The first thing I thought was I need to get a copy for him ☹️I am still spinning out of control about that so trust me this feels good.
KnitScene does a feature called “blog spotting” and they spotted me (insert the happy dance) I smiled so hard when I read a message on the Facebook page about the section.
The feature is on page 96 and as soon as the Barnes and Noble opens I am picking up a copy. I can’t wait for the mail.
KnitScene! Can you believe it? GG is in a magazine!! A pretty major magazine too! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This edition is packed full of cardigans and I’m excited! A Rhinebeck sweater needs to be made, sooooo now to decide which one will I tackle.

Patterns
This first cardigan is called Hills Cardigan by Daniela Nii. You guys know I love texture and we don’t have to talk color do we?
Next I really like the Ashes Cardigan by Quenna Lee. This is classic to me and I would just be overjoyed at the fact that I made it 😀
Ok I’m not gonna give it all away, go get your copy because there are some really nice Cardigans featured. I also have some new to me designers to stalk on Ravelry 😆
Note: I will update with links to the patterns once they are available.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your Dad. That hurts so much! I hope your family and friends nearby are shoring you up, and that knitting will help you get through the early days of sorrow. *hugs*
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I’m a new “follower”, direct result of the Knitscene article. I really liked your energy, which came through the interview. Looking forward to your blog posts (as well as catching up with the old ones 😉).
Why thank you for giving the blog a look see. Welcome!
