Rhinebeck weekend has come and gone and I am drunk with inspiration. I didn’t capture all the fabulous sweaters but KristiGlassKnits did, check out the“Tell me about your Rhinebeck Sweater 2017″ I was so enthralled with all the people. I wanted to Vlog and that failed too!
The weather was perfect and the people just blew my mind. I will say this over and over again. The BEST part of Rhinebeck is the people. I will never ever tire of folks walking up to me and asking “are you GG or GGMADEIT” LOL I told one lady ‘nope” as I was hugging her! LOL!

So this beauty is @cosmocomposureon Instagram and as soon as she responds to my note I will tell you the pattern for this fabulous dress! She was all “it’s GG” and I was all “that dress!!” I love the texture, those cables are so right! 
THe People
I can’t explain the sheer joy to meet folks that you follow online in real life. Folks expect you to touch and feel all the fabulous hand knits. The day is full of hug me, touch me and take a picture with me. It was so NOT sweater weather, but we rocked our wears as long as we could. Check out more pictures here

In this cyber world you make connections, you talk to folks (virtually) everyday, so when you meet them and you are me..you scream! Aniqua from My Kinda Thingand her fabulous dolls. I low key tackled her! hahahahahahaaaa
The bobble shrug at Rhinebeck
Of course I wore my Shrug! I was blown away by the reaction from everyone. I love that folks wanted to try it on and it looked good on everyone. The level of pride was off the charts. I don’t know what felt better, seeing folks with my shirts on or the Shrug love. Bonnye was a tester and she has already done a second one.

THe GGmadeit Shirt spotted at RHinebeck
Seeing my shirt all over the fairgrounds really rocks my chain! Guys I cannot make you understand my sheer joy!! I missed Heiressknits so I borrowed her picture! LOL. Please check out the highlight of the trip. I met the smallest GGmadeit fan ever and she had on the shirt.

I am telling you the pictures below sum up my time this weekend. I did more hugging and smiling and what’s your name on Instgram’ng. Do you believe I didn’t purchase any yarn? GASP! I was at the NY Sheep & Wool festival and didn’t buy any yarn, me the YarnHo! LOL!
The picture below captured my happiness best of all. Every time I attend, it’s like homecoming, lol you get to see all your peeps! If have not done so already, you MUST add Rhinebeck to your calendar for 2018.

What a day! I, too was blown away by the number of friends old and new. It was definitely a family affair of kindred spirits.
