The “I did good” measurement is my daughter. When I make something that she puts on immediately, I feel like I hit the jackpot. When I have to go in her room to find said item, yes I won the Ms Knitter of the year. I am mom of year. We won’t talk about the fact that I was planning on selling this cowl 👀. Not so much now.
I mean it’s purple so what did I think? She LOVES all things purple.
I am truly pleased with the outcome. The colors just make me smile. Welp on to the next, which is uh…I don’t know. I just MUST knit. I mean what else should I do in the train to Long Island everyday?
That sounds like an excellent measure of succes. And I agree with her, very stunning cowl, the colours are so pretty!
Thank you! That is how I fell in love. The colors were screaming my name. Thanks for reading
Lol!! 😄 I totally understand. Our daughters sort of validate us as knitters and in every other category. The 1st time I saw my fashionista daughter walk through the door wearing the cowl I made for her birthday, I felt my hard work was validated.
Yes! I totally agree! Every time she grabs one of my scarves/cowls and/or hat; my hearts sings! Thanks for reading and commenting
