I finished quite a few things and realized I neglected to blog about them. The last thing I shared was my socks and boy oh boy do I have some really nice finished projects to share. Go grab a drink and let’s do this
Let’s start with the Droplet Caplet by Denise Bayron. I will not tell you how many times I had to rip back OR how many times Gunner got to it š I will say I finished. Then Iāll say thank goodness for lifelines lol, because baby if I had to rip back one more time…listen!

I was so happy to rock my Capelet at Rhinebeck and get a picture with the designer. This is my second project by her and I love her style. The patterns are well written and include video support too. Wait, the cast in for this pattern (new for me) did I tell yāall how I cussed trying to get that thing right? Woo wee!
The end result is a versatile, stylish accessory for your wardrobe.

Braided Poncho Cape
Next I finished The Braided Poncho Cape by Knitatude. You guys know my love of fat fibers right? Remember thatās all I use to knit with? If you watched the Rhinebeck Recap you saw the yarn that Magpie Fibers gifted me š Yea, so I used that and oh boy is this thing fabulous!
There is something about the drama of a bulky stitch and a well written pattern. I was afraid of the applied border but baby I did it!

This cape is another must make for so many reasons. Can we talk about the doubled brim technique for the neck? Another first as well and how did I not know? I absolutely love the outcome. Doubling the cowl gives it life, structure if you will. I donāt know that I will ever knit a cowl sans this technique again. Yup itās that good
Knit Collage KAL
Last but not least I participated in Knit Collageās Fall Knit Along. I just completed the Happy Cozy Bobble Scarf and my only gripe is orange…where is the orange yarn man!! Lol š
Note: the KAL is closed and the patterns will be available next year.
These last two projects have taken me back to my roots. Go big or go the hell home. I mean the fat fibers, the cables AND bobbles š„° the only thing missing was orange. Give me texture please and this pattern satisfied.

Thatās it for now! Letās see what December brings. What have you finished lately?
Knit on my fiber friends….knit on
