1. What is the name of your company?

Hi Gaye my knitting Queen of Soul. I have been admiring your work for some time now. Thanks for taking the time to do a spotlight about me. The name of my handmade jewelry company is Prettiuneek Jewelry.

2. LOL! I love the name! How long have you been selling jewelry?

I started making Jewelry about 3 years ago and when how much I enjoyed it as well as being eel received by my customers I really got serious about it within the last two years.

3.  That is really cool! Do you make all the earrings yourself?

Yes I make all of the items that I sell;  earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I also source all of my own materials. I purchase all of the materials that go into making my jewelry.

4. Does it take long to make one of your pieces?

Expanding on the previous question, an item starts with me actually reviewing and purchasing different products available in the world of beads, gemstones and fibers etc.The next step is planning and coordinating the different items together and creating an earring, bracelet or necklace. Designing an item can take time, as many of my bead are unique  and very different so it does take time creating with them.

5. Wow so interesting, well I know every time I wear my wooden hearts someone asks where I got them. I saw a pic of you vending, do you do that often?

It takes a lot participating at a vending event and I do enjoy getting out there meeting customers face to face. I try to vend at least 3 times a year. I also vend at special event home parties and at office vendor days in addition to selling online.

6. What is your bestselling piece?

I feature a wide variety of different styles. My wrap bracelets, wooden earrings, delicate Czech dangle earrings and African American Cameo earrings have been well received.

7. What would be your advice to someone wanting to start a jewelry business?

Do the research first, find out the suppliers that are available in your area as well as planning visits to other areas  to get a wide variety of supplies, decide on what you want to make and sell and be social media savvy. Invest in good quality tools.

This was Awesome!! Thanks for taking the time so share with me. Ok family you can find her handwork on her website PrettiUneek.com and you can find her on Instagram too
