A Sweater in 24 hours?

Who made a sweater in 24 hours? GGmadeit!

I am so very proud of myself. Who started a sweater on Sunday morning and went to sleep with only one sleeve left to do.

I finished the sleeve in the car and put it on instantly! Lol Yup I did that and I’m still in shock.

There is something about being able to say “I made this!”

The sweater details

The Pattern: The Little Bomber Cardi

The Yarn: Lana Grande by Cascade Yarn. This is 100% wool and knits up like a dream. I used 6 skeins to complete

I am loving this designer. Her style of creating a sweater and given my confidence! I am so very proud of this project. If you are looking for a project I recommend the pattern and the yarn.

You will see in the video how proud I am based on my strut! Tell me in comments how long it takes to make a cardigan?

knit on my fiber friends….knit on

  1. Your strut in the video really cracks me up and I love it! That’s pure joy. I don’t do a ton of bulky weight or bigger cardigans but I did make one in December that I loved and was super quick. But my norm for a dk weight or worsted weight cardigan is about a 2 week average (hence why I was able to knit so many last year). But regardless of the time it takes, it’s still awesome to wear something you made. Congrats!

Wow Auntie GG! That is impressive! I haven’t worked up the nerve yet to tackle a sweater, but when I do, after I do your Bobble Shrug ;), this may be the one I try. You make it look like fun.
