If you have been following along, you know that I have been working on a shawl. You also know that I made the shawl using a yarn that was new to me. The yarn in question is Sprout by The Fiberseed. In the last Wip Wednesday post I told you this yarn was purchased while in Tampa last year.The WIP is now finished and I am pleased. I followed the “increase on one side, decrease on the other” shawl recipe and sort of went with my gut. The shawl is mostly garter stitch with a little bit of lace here and there. I used a US6 needle and the end result is a decent sized spring shawl. I will be posting this on the shop to sell. No I didn’t write down a pattern, you know I am a work in progress.

I even did a little picot bind off, with my fancy self! hahahahahahaha! If you are the winner you definitely have enough yarn to make a decent shawl. The skein includes 480 yards of yummy yarn. I really love the way the colors presented as I continued to knit. Please go check out all the lovely colors that are available. This is considered a trio because it has 3 colors, cute right?

    I'm going to try that one skein shawl. I'm making shawls for all the Aunties over the next year or until that's done 😉 I started last year but had to put that on hold to get winter gifts done.
