The other day I was asked what percentage of my yarn is orange. I hesitated because it’s actually not as much as folks think.

I honestly think if I pulled out all of my yarn, less than 50% off it is orange. I mean I post more yarn that is in the orange family, but I subscribed to the Yarnbox for a while, so trust me I have all colors and have used them.

I proved it when I did my live throwback Thursday on Facebook. Although my beloved color of sunshine was present, it wasn’t the only color I have used to create projects.

All orange Yarn matters

I had to be honest when I looked through my stash, I did have a ton of yarn that, may not have been solid orange; however, it was present. LOL! Listen, I like what I like. When I saw that gradient set from Plucky Knitter, I like to lost my mind. OMG!! I know I have shared my love for Plucky Yarn in the past, but they have blown my mind with this release.

Orange gradient

I took a picture when I received the yarn in the mail.  A picture that won me another skein of Plucky Cashmere yarn. It arrived the other day and it’s blue, a lovely shade of blue, lol sheddup…yes I plan to use it! The first skein I won is brown. I like brown and blue together, so I will find something nice to make.

My next project will be from Cocoknits sweater workshop. A vest called Tallulah. I am excited to try the Cocoknits top down sweater method and I will take you all along with me.  As you can see the original is one color but mine will be 5 shades of yummy! I will make it as long as I can, because I have more yarn than the pattern requires.

Knit on my fiber friends….knit on
