Yes! The week of Rhinebeck has finally arrived and I can’t contain my excitement! On Friday morning, I will be heading up to the New York Sheep & Wool to speed the weekend. Yes you read it right, I will be staying for the weekend! Woo Hoo!!
Yup as the date gets closer, I am like a kid at Christmas time….I can’t wait. Now do I have a ton of money to shop? Nope! Am I going anyway? Yup!
This will be my fourth year attending Rhinebeck and the first time I’m staying the weekend. I can’t sleep , because my mind is racing. Lol!
I can remember when I first stumbled across the hashtag #rhinebecksweater I thought to myself “well I can’t go because I don’t know how to make a sweater!” Who made a cape instead and got on that train all alone? Lol an incomplete cape to boot? Yup that was all me!
The best part will forever and always be the people, hands down. I get such a rush from meeting fiber friends that I talk to daily via the Internet.
Did you knit a Rhinebeck sweater GG? Well not really, I will however be wearing something orange all weekend long. That’s a promise.
