It’s not the weekend and I guess you could say I’m out of control just a wee bit. I have knit 3 out of the 12 patterns since Sunday and the book (Weekend: Simple, Modern Knits) hasn’t arrived yet 🙈 what book, is that what you are saying?
Ha! The book that is in Vogue Knitting’s latest edition, the book I blogged about, the book I am giving away…the book that won’t turn me loose. I’m sitting here now, looking around in my mind’s eye thinking…what do I have wound that I could make that lil hood that’s on the cover 🤔
But I’m gonna go to bed, AFTER I show you the latest finished project from said book
The yarn, I must discuss the yarn, Jesus! Remember when I went to Fibre Space in Virginia and grabbed a skein (only 1 because $50) of Rustic Bulky by Neghborhood Fiber Co. Well it found a pattern and they will live happily ever after! This damn yarn is worth all 50 of them dollars that I didn’t have but am so glad I got it! I need someone to invent a feel camera, you guys deserve to touch this, if only for a minute and NO! You can’t put it on. I said TOUCH 👀.
I truly believe a pattern is just a pattern until it’s partnered with the perfect yarn and these two….a match made in fiber heaven.
