Becoming a Knit Star produced more than a masterclass for me. It has been 5 years and I am still reaping the benefits of being authentic, consistent and vulnerable. Why those traits you ask? Well, first that the topic of my masterclass: Sustaining Growth: Finding your own voice through authenticity, consistency, and vulnerability and secondly because being me, 100% of the time, fears and all…helped me knit a new life.
My masterclass is titled Sustainable Growth: Finding your own voice through authenticity, consistency, and vulnerability. I talk about the impact and importance of being everything that you are, fears and all, 100% of the time. The class is unlike any of the other courses and because of that I wSo as so afraid. I was so very sure my class would flop. It was this very fear that made me tell Shelley Brander over and over again: I am NOT a Knit Star!
Ha! Not only am I a Knit Star, I am now a star advisor! Yes, I am a part time Knit Star employee. My position is to help the stars with the marketing and social media aspect. I never imagined me finally saying yes to Shelley, would result in a part time job. When I stopped trying to be what I thought others wanted me to be, it’s like I blossomed. I often say I knit myself a new life and I owe a great deal of credit to Knit Stars season 5.
Knit Stars Season 10
How does the saying go, 🗣Time flies when you are having fun, right? This year marks year 10 of the Knit Stars organization being in our world. I am proud to be a part of presenting 15 courses, 10 knit and 5 crochet. Yes this year there are Crochet Stars and you can either grab the entire season (all 15), the knit version (10 courses) or just the crochet. This season’s stars are breaking records. The first day the cart open they literally broke the website. LOL! We were scrambling and excited all at the same time. ðŸ¤
