I love a themed book, so Lee Gant hit the nail on the head for me. The patterns, I love them all. I want to reverse time and make my Shelbey a teenager again. LOL! One day while browsing one of the groups that Lee and I have in common, I spotted the picture below. I slammed on scroll, yes the picture was thumb-stopping! I stared at the screen with my mouth wide open.
If you are anything like me, the pretty pictures make you Ohh and Ahh, well the photography in this book is breathtaking. The texture and the colors just jump off the page.

Can we talk about this design? This beauty is called “Tweed Poncho”. It is modern and classic at the same time. I love me some texture and my goodness does this knit satisfy? YES indeed it does! Those cables are amazing and give the piece life, without the cable it would be eh…
When I purchase a book of patterns, variety is key. I want to have choices and Lee nails that part as well. The patterns include cable and color work. This book gives you dresses and skirts and scarves! It is 100 plus pages of “oh I have to make this and this and this one too!” I promise you will be digging in your stash to see if you have enough to cast on NOW! The other great thing is all of the patterns have easy to follow instructions. You know how you nod your head in agreement when you read a pattern? NO? I am the only one that does that?
