The life of GGmadeit: this week and last

If you are following GGmadeit on any of the social platforms, you probably know some of this stuff already. I have had a great fiber related couple of weeks and I wanted to share. I, GGmadeit, have been the recipient of multiple acts of kindness and it feels so good. I mean I had patterns gifted to me, a box full of orange yarn sent to me AND, AND a yarn named after me. Listen, when I tell you I had a great couple of days I mean it!

Acts of Kindness

1. Box full of orange yarn! Yes you read that right. My favorite Florida Yarn shop, FourPurls, sent me a box full of yarn. A box full of GGmadeit yarn. What king of yarn is that? Well it’s bulky and it’s Orange! hahahahahahahaaa. Laura reached out to me on a day that started low and she filled my heart to the top. Thank you Laura! Love you mean it! 
2. A free hat pattern! Yes I was checking my emails like I do every morning and I saw this Ravelry email talking about a pattern. I instantly thought, but I haven’t purchased any patterns lately. Then I read closer and realized the pattern was given to me 🙂 how cool is that. The pattern is Ra-Starry Night by Melissa Kemmerer. She said she loves my chunky knits and wanted me to have her hat pattern. Why thank you Melissa! Ra-Starry can be found here and you all know I keep Rasta or any super bulky yarn just laying around, waiting to be great! LOL!

   Gifts

   Cashmere, bulky orange cashmere!!! WHAT? I get my hair products from Koils By Nature. My do or die product, my I will fight you over my leave in conditioner product. I also happen to know the owner and I often tell her I love her ALMOST as much as I love my leave in conditioner. Hahahahahahaha!    New Tags

   I don’t know that I ever expressed it here, but I have always wanted the wooden tags for my ETSY items. Don’t ask me why I never purchased them, because I don’t have an answer.  I do however, have new tags. The GGmadeit tags come from All This Wood. I was so pleased that I instantly re-ordered. 

   New Yarn

   Finally, the mailman dropped of a skein of yarn, I forgot I purchased. (don’t judge, yarn makes me feel good) When this orange goodness arrived I think I squealed out loud. The yarn comes from Rainbow Twist on ETSY. The owner Laura I had the pleasure of meeting some time ago and fell in love with her handspun yarns and this baby is no different. She posted this on her personal page and I had a whole fit! I had to have it ASAP! Whew!! Are you still reading? That was a lot but I had to share!
