A year ago today I pushed pass fear

Fear a powerful source that one can not see or touch, but powerful none the less. Fear stopped me from starting this very blog, fear made me pause when I was told I should sell what I make. Fear is still my good friend, she shows up when I least expect her.

A year ago today, I pushed pass fear Click To Tweet I closed my eyes and I launched my brand new logo on a tshirt.

Wow! I can’t believe it’s been a year can you? The campaign was a success. I met the goal of 50 shirts and have sold a few more since. What you may or may not know is I was unemployed at the time. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to pay my rent and THAT will always be scary.

So this post is not only about fear it’s about thanks. Thank you to all of you who purchased a shirt because the rent was paid. THANK YOU!

Here we are a year later, a few other t-shirt designs and my friend (you know that one I can be afraid of at times) Yup she shows up each time, but I don’t stop; therefore, this post is a congratulatory post. A bravo to me post. A I stared my biggest obstacle down and went forward anyway post. A I am damn proud of me post.

Nothing feels better than running into my shirt attached to a beautiful supporter and to think I was afraid to try.

The original shirts and others are available here, as well as cups too. Just check out the shop link above and you will find all I that offer. Please like, comment and share with your fiber friends.

What have you stopped doing because you were afraid?

Knit on my fiber friends….knit on

  2. I remember watching your scopes when you first started. I remember how you said you joined 1K per day and how Nicole helped you get your receipts!! It’s amazing to watch you grow! God speed with you into your millionaire status. It WILL come.

  3. That’s great ,GG! I’m a natural AND a knitter! I need a shirt! Sometimes I have fear issues as well, so thanks for inspiring!

  4. Hi! First, what a testimony! Stepped out on faith and God made a way. Won’t He do it?! I literally started knitting day before yesterday. I feared knitting because it looked much more intimidating than crocheting (which I started doing in March). But I really wanted to learn, and like everything else I really want to learn, I pushed past the fear, bought some needles and gave it a go. Two days later and I’ve already gotten the hang of it! I really like the shirt. Are you still selling them? I would LOVE one.
