GG made it to Ravelry’s front page!

So it was a long day and as usual I was unwinding with a few stitches when I got a message on Facebook from Karen, the owner of Do Ewe Knit? It went like this

Karen: did you see you are on the opening page of RAVELRY.

Karen : OMG

Karen: omg, omg

Me: wait, what?

Karen: look, OMG the opening page

Me: I am looking now, OMGAWD!

I went to Ravelry and Pow! There I was wearing my Kendall hat and Bowery cowl!
It was perfect that Karen told me about this because she is the reason I got my hands on some chunky funky yarn from the Third Piece. When I met Carina and Kristen at Vogue Knitting, they ask me to test some patterns for them!  😍 The cowl is what I tested and I love their hat so I made it too, I mean there was a blizzard so what else could I do?

The Kendall takes one ball of Funky Chunky, two if you want the Pom..of course you want the Pom. 😋 I think what I like the most is the wide ribbing, it adds a certain something to the hat. We won’t talk about the yarn and how it presents the stitch, nope we won’t!  The pattern is free and a quick satisfying project.

I never EVER expected to land on the front page! I am like super proud! I mean you let me tell it I’m new in this knitting thing. So this to me is huge! There was a time when I was totally intimidated by Ravelry, but now I can’t stay away. The pattern is free and it called The Kendall. I used the funky chunky in the color Wheat and I love it!

I used the extra large Pom Pom maker for the Pom and that cowl? Yea that will be released soon, stay tuned. Guys! Omgawd! I’m so proud and had to share.
Knit on my fiber friends…knit on
