When asked what I love the most in my fiber journey, my answer is always the people. The Community Love Fund is in it’s fourth year AND launches my new color “GG Loves Silver Linings”. Did you know I was the Ambassador? I am! I love when everyone wins. Let’s discuss the fund shall we?
On the Madelinetosh website it says this: Mad Love is an annual pattern booklet featuring knit & crochet patterns from designers we love. Proceeds benefit the MT Community Love Fund, which provides grants, scholarships, yarn, and supports our yarn library program to increase maker access and equity in our community. The MT Community Love Fund will raise donations through creative collaborations and partnerships. The fund may offer financial grants, scholarships, mentorship, yarn and more to business owners, designers and students in our maker community. The MT Community Love Fund celebrates diversity and will encourage anyone in our community of every race, religion, age, ability, sexual identity, gender identity, skin color and body type to apply, especially BIPOC and LBGTQI+
The patterns included in this fund are so good! MadTosh sent me the samples and I went crazy! LOL😛 Are you following me on Instagram? As soon as I saw the samples I had a mini fashion show. I made the European Road Trip shawl a few years ago with yarn I was gifted from Chelsea Yarns. Now I have it with 2 GG color combinations. It looks so good with GG loves Orange and GG loves Silver Linings as well as GG loves orange and speckles.
