Hangover GG? Yup I got a LOVE hangover, and I don’t a want a cure for this! Ok so I’m sure you are like what in the ham sammich are you talking about GG? Hahahahahaaa let me tell you about my EPIC weekend.
Let’s start with the Lolabean Yarn CO Trunk Show at String Thing Studio in Brooklyn. That Damn Della landed in Brooklyn and the people went crazy!
The trunk show was held over two days (Thursday and Friday) so let me say this, if you didn’t get there in the first two hours of day 1, well uhm…sorry. Are you thinking “wait what happened the first two hours GG?” Well she sold out of the coveted Georgia Peach AND the exclusive color way “It’s a string thing, you wouldn’t understand”. 
Listen we thought we would need security for the remaining time! It was awesome! Adella Colvin absolutely deserves the now famous nickname “that damn della”. I promise she will make you say DAMN!
Day 2 of the truck show was even better, if that is at all possible. I got to meet Lola the Bean and Jimmy the Model. I thought I adored that damn Della until I met the whole family! Love was in the air and you couldn’t do a thing about it. It was the best 2 days ever.
Every time the door opened and more folks came in, my heart just exploded. I have nothing to do with dyeing that yarn, but lord knows I am so proud.
The Surprise
I could go on an on about this weekend but I won’t. I will just say this, my baby organized a surprise birthday party that rocked me to my core. Guys I am nosey, so surprising me is no easy task, but she/they did it!
I will never be able to properly thank Felicia, Louis, Cecilia, Adella, Chriscensia and Danni for helping my daughter put this together. The orange details alone were just fabulous!!

It’s called, you ready? “Orange you glad it’s GG’s Birthday”. Everyone left with a skein of that lovely merino/silk blend yarn. So you get it right? You understand why I was intoxicated?
