Life of a yarnho: Thanksgiving 2015

How does yarn and the holidays go together? You sneak 👀 let me tell you a story

For those that have followed me for awhile, you know that when I travel I ALWAYS look for a local yarn store. Well my Shelbey and I jumped in the car and headed down to Virginia Beach to have Thanksgiving with the family. I am always on pie duty so I posted this on  Instagram

My daughter promptly said no you are not! Hahahahahahahaaa so we NEEDED something from the store. What?! We did! So who volunteered 🙋🏽 because my friends on Instagram told me where to find a store AND it was only 10 mins away AND how about there were not 1 but 2 food stores right there  👀

I was only in there for like 30 minutes or less and I was whispering! Hahahahahahaaa because I wasn’t supposed to be there. You know you have issues when you have to sneak to a yarn store. 😂😂😂😂

The funniest part is when my daughter texted and I jumped liked she walked in the store and I was busted! Hahahahahahahahahahaaa.

I enjoyed my little bit of time in Knitwits! The owner and staff made me feel so welcomed. I will absolutely go back! They have a nice size store with a wide variety yarns. She had a nice collection of Jul closures OMG! AND on top of it all she took a selfie with me! You know how special THAT is!  So here are the pictures I grabbed before I really went to the store! 👀 AND I made the pies too! So there !

Isn’t it nice guys? I will absolutely go back the next time I am here. I was good I only got the Jul closures, ain’t you proud of me?

Ok so now I gotta get ready to eat. Have a wonderful Holiday weekend with your friends and family.

Knit on my fiber friends…knit on

  1. Oh I am so glad you liked your “sneaky” visit to the shop! It was fun chatting with you. I can’t wait to see what you add the closures to. 😄
